*If (eğer) anlamında şart cümleciği olarak kullanılır. -0- türünde her iki cümlede geniş zaman( simple present tense- do does) olmak zorundadır.

– If you pass the red light, you have an accident(kaza).

– She is successful if she studies hard( sıkı çalışırsa).

* If in 1 türünde If’ i takip eden cümle geniş zamanken , 2. Cümle gelecek zaman( future tense), modals( can, may, should, must) yapıları içerir.

-If you see the green light( yeşil ışık), you must stop.

-He will be successful in TEOG ıf she repeats structures regularly( yapıları düzenli tekrar ederse)

*Wh- questions( Wh ile başlayan sorular)
