Hedef dil Almancan\u0131n yaln\u0131zca ana dil ile de\u011fil, 1. yabanc\u0131 dil ile de bilin\u00e7li bir \u015fekilde kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na,\u00a0 benzerlik ve farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n ortaya konulmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00f6\u011frencilere f\u0131rsat verilmeli yani \u00f6\u011frencilerin kendileri baz\u0131 benzerliklerini ve farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 bulmal\u0131d\u0131r. Bu s\u0131rada olumsuz\/ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z aktar\u0131ma; yani \u0130ngilizcenin etkisiyle, yeni \u00f6\u011frenilen yabanc\u0131 dilde yanl\u0131\u015flar yap\u0131labilece\u011fine, dikkat \u00e7ekilmelidir. Ancak yine de olumlu aktar\u0131m; yani \u0130ngilizce ile hedef dil aras\u0131ndaki benzerliklerin \u00f6\u011frenmeyi kolayla\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 daha y\u00fcksektir. Bu iki dilin birbirine olan yak\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131, Almancadaki bir\u00e7ok s\u00f6zc\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn ve dil bilgisi yap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na yard\u0131mc\u0131 olmakta ve ke\u015ffederek \u00f6\u011frenmeyi kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmaktad\u0131r. Bu nedenle 2. yabanc\u0131 dil dersinde \u00f6ncelikle anlama \u00f6n plandad\u0131r ve bu da \u00f6\u011frencilerin daha zor ve ilgisini \u00e7eken metinlere ge\u00e7i\u015fini h\u0131zland\u0131racakt\u0131r.\u00a0 Ayr\u0131ca 1. yabanc\u0131 dilin \u00f6\u011frenilmesi s\u0131ras\u0131nda edinilen stratejilerden 2. yabanc\u0131 dilin \u00f6\u011freniminde de faydalan\u0131labilinir.
