Dover ile Calais&#8217;yi birbirine ba\u011flayan t\u00fcnel 147 km uzunlukta olup, 1991&#8217;de t\u00fcnel a\u00e7ma i\u015flemi tamamland\u0131. <br \/>\n14.000 i\u015f\u00e7inin g\u00f6rev ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu projede, milyonlarca metrik tonluk ta\u015f, toprak ve \u00e7amurun at\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in son derece geli\u015fmi\u015f kaz\u0131 makineleri kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. <br \/>\nYap\u0131 \u00fc\u00e7 t\u00fcnelden olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. bunlardan ikisi tren yollar\u0131 i\u00e7in yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r ve 7.6m lik bir \u00e7apa sahiptirler.
